It’s still slow going, but I’m getting some things lined up now. My attitude is one of them; it’s much better. Besides the updates below, there are two others that I’m actively planning to update in the near future. I’m just not ready to “commit” by publicly naming them yet.
8. Complete 100 push-ups.
I haven’t even started this one yet, but I’m bringing it into today’s post because I intend to start it by testing tomorrow. I want people to hold me accountable by asking how it’s going. I chose this one first since it’ll be the easiest for me to complete (I can already do about ten) and I don’t want to discourage myself about getting back in shape.
39. Create and implement a second source of income.
I’m also not able to officially check this one off, but I think I’ve figured out what the source is going to be — and it is entrepreneurial in nature. My next step will be identifying ways to get training; after that, I’ll need to find ways to build out a clientele. Once I have a plan, I’ll post more detail, but at this point I am serious enough to upgrade this one to “in progress.”
55. Take a photography class.
Still in progress; still on track.
79. Visit five states I’ve never visited before.
I’m now officially down to four states as I got back from Milwaukee last night. Contrary to my earlier assumption, I did in fact get to see a little bit of it. I was also able to come up with a firm definition of “visiting a state”: my feet have to touch bare ground, outside of a building perimeter, while I’m in it. Adding this requirement doesn’t take anything out of my visited-states list.
It’s worth noting that Wisconsin is the 25th state I have visited under my own definition; in other words, I’ve now visited half of the states in the U.S.
89. Answer the 50 Questions That Will Free Your Mind.
I was a little late with Question #2, but I got it answered. Question #3 is scheduled for this weekend.
97. Make one substantive blog post per week for 26 consecutive weeks.
Thanks to the awesomeness that is WordPress’ schedule-post feature, I was able to make this happen this week even though I was nowhere near my computer.
101. Post progress each Saturday.
Eleven weeks down; 132 to go.
Days left: 924 (92.31%)
