The days dragged by, but this week went remarkably fast. For some reason I’ve been in a fairly good mood, too — almost too good — since I’m finding things to care about again. That’s actually one of the things I’d been hoping to spark by doing the Day Zero project.
1. Complete one themed photoshoot per month for 12 consecutive months.
I’m going to count the shoot at the Harley-Davidson Museum, which covers July. I’m expecting to do at least one this month as well as my final project for Digital Photography I will be due around mid-month. I received the actual assignment this week.
8. Complete 100 push-ups.
After giving it some more thought, I’ve decided to hold off on this one for now. Before you can exercise, you have to eat right (otherwise you don’t have what you need). So I’m going to concentrate on the items related to the inside of my body instead.
55. Take a photography class.
It looks like this item will be the first one that I actually cross off the list. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I decided to formally enroll in the entire certificate series. I’ve already registered for my next two classes.
89. Answer the 50 Questions That Will Free Your Mind.
As I mentioned last week, I did indeed answer #3 this week.
97. Make one substantive blog post per week for 26 consecutive weeks.
I only managed two posts this past week, but the requirement is one so that counts and it takes me to two consecutive weeks. Hopefully I’m going to pick up on my usual frequency in the next week.
101. Post progress each Saturday.
I’m now at twelve weeks into the project so I think it’s time to pick up work on another item or two. I’m thinking about picking up something related to #8.
