I do not understand how people could ever voluntarily put contact lenses on. Yes, I wear them and they're fairly comfortable, but it took me a while to get there and I still have moments. I also have to keep eye drops nearby.

I am very, very glad I didn't find out about this until after I'd gotten home from work yesterday. Yes, I tried it a couple of times, but I got a tad annoyed with the delay between my computer and Pac-Man's actions. But that's just a gripe.

First synthetic life, now a computer that can control biological life. Cue the Twilight Zone music, although it's probably not as bad as it seems. As for the cyborg argument? I'm arguably a cyborg myself since I use a piece of artificial technology to see. (Or, in other words, I wear glasses/contacts.)
