This pilot seemed to get a kick out of seeing the people in the playground area. He slowed down and waved to the kids and then gave me a thumbs-up. I saluted him with the camera and would have tried to find him later and offer him a copy, but he wasn’t back by the time I left.

This shot comes from my recent visit to DeKalb-Peachtree Airport. In a technical sense, it’s not the greatest photograph, but I loved the plane’s orange-and-white coloring. If I ever get my private pilot’s license I want one like this.
