Welcome
Thank you for visiting!
I’m a thirtysomething, semi-crazy cat lady, currently living and working in the Atlanta metro area although I’m originally from eastern North Carolina. Yes, I have an accent, although I’m told it’s pretty mild. No, I’m not a redneck — although I’ll firmly correct anyone who even suggests barbecue might be red.
I’ve owned and operated the sonria.org domain since 2003. The name (which I have also adopted as a web handle) is taken from the Spanish word sonría, which is the command form of the verb, “to smile.” The site has gone through several incarnations over the years, but right now it contains:
- A current copy of my résumé
- A brief biography and site history
- A photo gallery
- My online journal
- The Day Zero project
- Links to my fan fiction (includes a few original items)
In short, this is a personal web site and the contents reflect that. In other words, I won’t be offended if you choose not to look around any further. But if you do, and you like what you see, then please feel free to drop me a line. I’m always looking for new online friends.
Thanks again for your visit!
